Our super special friends are joining together from Victoria University, Massey University and Otago School of Medicine to do a bit of charity for those in need in CHCH. We know you students�don't have any dollars but you DO have plenty of cans of spaghetti! There will be colleciton boxes all over the main areas of all these schools so fill up your bag and bring them in. Remember, there is no shame in GETTING YOUR CANS OUT FOR THE CHURR.

The Flight of The Conchords have joined an exclusive club alongside the likes of Elton John, Mick Jagger and Hugh Hefner. What do these people all have in common? They've all have had a cameo role in The Simpsons, with the Conchords premiering Season 22.

Sam Neill and Lucy Lawless of Xena fame are the only other Kiwi's to have appeared on the show.

HOME BREW (AK)

We are proud to announce HOME BREW from Auckland as the headliners for this as part of their 'Good Country' nationwide Pub tour.

Ever since Tux Wonder Dogs went off air things have been hard in small town New Zilind. The drugs just aren't strong enough for paint parties and now people have been forced to turn to live wood cutting showcases for entertainment.

Luckily though, this September Home Brew's 'Good Country Tour' will be making it's way around the entire country, bringing that rural shit back to a bowls club near you. The group will playing all the main centers (and Gore) with their live band who have been refereed to as 'the AMP show on acid' and their support DJ, Substance, who is to turntabilism what Boyd Tisdal is to orienteering.

�

After their legendary last sold out show at the Bathhouse during re-orientation week everyone has been gagging for their return. These guys emit pure party sex raps on stage, glugging single malt, and rhyming with an energy never seen before on these shores. Expect massive things from these guys over the next few months and a live show that will leave you speechless...

CHAOS IN THE CBD (AK)

Hailing from Devonport on Auckland�s North Shore, Ben and Louis Helliker-Hales are still fresh faces in the dance scene. Over the past year or so however the brothers have been making massive waves, both locally and internationally and have been tipped as the 'next big thing'

Their roller coaster ride started with a host of their free releases quickly gaining momentous hype on the blogosphere and before you know it original Chaos In The CBD productions later featured on the prestigious BBC Essential Mix.

The Chaos boys are not afraid to cross genre boundaries either. They are in their element spinning and producing everything from Tech House to UK Funky, the dance music communities� latest obsession. To date they have had the opportunity to play alongside superstars such as Mowgli, Hijack, Solo, Renaissance Man, Yolanda Be Cool and Noob.

This blog entry was intended to come on Sunday, the day after the conclusion of the tour in Auckland. But after four days without sleep, deafening, floor-shaking bass, Daft-Punkesque lighting and 1500 kilometres on the road - blog writing seemed a very low priority.

�

In Dunedin, the massive subs in Union Hall were literally making dust rain out of the roof. In Christchurch, even Tiki decided he couldn�t miss the party, and dropped in to support the heavy international line-up. In Wellington, Adam Freeland took matters into his own hands and crowd surfed to his Beastie Boys �Sabotage� drop. Finally in Auckland, the climax of the tour, a sold out crowd of 1500, dedicated their dubstep souls to Nero�s now legendary �Innocence�.

�

This is only the beginning people. Madcap know how to throw down huge parties, and Nightcap will live again.
